......YES! I'm free, I'm free! Hahahahaaaa! I'm free! Yes! Woo-hoo! Yeah! Hoo! Whoah..!...w00t.
Anydangway, it's fun to be free.
Today I opened one binder. And that was to put two papers away. I have no idea why in God's name I bothered to bring my books. The highlight of today, without a doubt, was the orchestral and choral concert during 3rd period. Last year, our all-frosh class was stuck way in the back and we could barely hear. This year, however, my Journalism class was on the far right, but very close to the musicians. They were great! I can seriously say that there are professionals who don't sound so good. It's a mostly Jewish area, but if there are any Mormons in the bunch, they'd fit right in with the Tabernacle Choir. Absolutely amazing singing. And the orchestra, band, and jazz band were amazing as well. Truly a group of acne-stricken virtuosos.
Let's review the day:
Pd. 1: AP NSL--crazy substitute, watched Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
Pd. 2: AP US History--slightly less crazy sub, "watched" Ken Burns (*shudder*) Civil War movie
Pd. 3: Journalism--Concert, followed by sitting around doing nothing for an hour
Pd. 4: Chem--Watched Sportscenter
Pd. 5: Lunch--Ate lunch, went to the library and read Ender's Shadow
Pd. 6: Spanish--Fiesta
Pd. 7: RL Precalculus--Two big 'ol sub sandwiches for the class to split, minor educational material
Pd. 8: Honors English--Watched laughably bad Odyssey movie
Chew on that for a while. And happy holidays!
